Sprayer Operator (Hangline - 1st Shift) (Manufacturing)

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

The Sprayer Operator is responsible for hand spraying stain, basecoat or topcoat finish material on various cabinet parts on the Hang Line according to Leedos safety, handling and quality procedures. He/She will also be responsible for working within a team to achieve production schedule goals.

Essential Functions and Duties:
Hand spray finish materials on production cabinet parts according to daily production schedules.Monitor and record all operational control parameters on the daily operational checklist.Measure and record all material usage on a daily basis.Assist Hang Line Lead in completing daily clean-up duties.Adhere to all safety, material handling and quality procedures. Perform additional tasks as assigned by Finish Supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to read and write in either English or Spanish.Must be able to perform basic math skillsMust be able to work in a team environment. Must understand standard safety practices involved in working in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.

Education and Experience
Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is beneficial

Physical Requirements and/or Working Conditions
Factory environment, possibly including heavy lifting, and areas where eye protection, and hearing protection are required.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Heavy lifting up to 30 lbs. may be required.
