Position Overview
The RMC Production Support role will be responsible for accurately preparing and mixing high quality concrete for various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of concrete properties, batching processes, and safety regulations .
Roles and Responsibilities
- Operation of various concrete plants in a safe and efficient manner.
- Responsible for batching concrete loads according to mix designs and specifications.
- Maintenance of the plants by cleaning and greasing on a set schedule.
- Responsible to keep a detailed log of all plant activities that occur throughout each day.
- Coordinate tanker delivery, concrete dispatch, concrete operations and others as necessary to ensure a smooth operation of the plant.
- Ensure that all products produced meet or exceed customers' expectations regarding quality and service.
- Order all materials daily for production.
- Responsible for quality products.
- Perform general laboring duties as necessary.
- Safely operate various equipment as needed.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Able to work various times during day, night or weekend hours, at various locations.
Education/Experience
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous concrete experience preferred but not required.
