Sr Quality Engineering Technician (Finance)



As a Sr. Quality Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of quality in our products and processes. You will be accountable for ensuring that products and processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves inspecting, testing, and monitoring production activities to identify and resolve quality issues, supporting continuous improvement, and maintaining accurate documentation. You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you'll work out of our Plymouth location. In this role, you will impact the company's ability to deliver high-quality products, meet customer requirements, and drive continuous improvement in our quality processes. The annual base salary or/ hourly pay range for this position is $57,100.00 - $71,400.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.As a Sr Quality Eng Technician here at Honeywell, you will lead a team to ensure smooth engineering processes, provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement in our MSC business unit.You'll work out of our Plymouth MN location on a On-site work schedule.YOU MUST HAVE

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in quality control, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procedures.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

WE VALUE
  • Experience in quality testing.
  • Familiarity with GD&T.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and tools.
  • Experience with powder metallurgy, hydraulic press and metal powder molds, or sintering.
  • Experience using Test instrumentation, data acquisition and programming with LabVIEW or MATLAB.
  • Experience building/maintaining either electronic systems or vacuum/cryogenic systems.

  • Inspect and test materials, components, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Monitor production processes and perform audits to ensure adherence to internal control procedures and contract/client specifications.
  • Document inspection results, test data, and nonconformances accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to quality control.
  • Maintain and calibrate inspection and testing equipment as required.
  • Participate in training and development activities to stay current with quality standards and best practices.
