Senior Manager/Associate Director, Sales Training (Finance)
Overview The Senior Manager/Associate Director, Sales Training will play a pivotal role in onboarding a new primary care sales force and preparing them for the launch of Ensitrelvir, a novel 3CL protease inhibitor for the prevention of SARS-CoV-2 infection and investigational oral antiviral agent being evaluated in patients with mild to moderate COVID-19 infection.The Senior Manager/Associate Director, Sales Training will assist with the design, development, and execution of comprehensive pre-launch and launch training programs to equip the new sales force with the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to excel in a high-impact fast-evolving market.The ideal candidate will be a high-energy, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual that excels in a fast-paced environment and is interested in joining a growing organization. Responsibilities Content Development:
Partner with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain product & brand related sales training resources, workshops, and presentations to ensure content meet the needs of all stakeholders
Design and develop training content independently and with vendors
Manage vendors to ensure projects meet objectives, adhere to timelines, and remain within budget
Ensure all projects and materials have been approved through the Legal, Medical, and Regulatory review process before being disseminated
Facilitation:
Facilitate virtual and live training for sales leaders and sales reps during all phases of onboarding
Facilitate "Train the Trainer" sessions with Sales Leaders, prior to sales meetings
Facilitate workshops at sales meetings, including launch, POA, and NSM
Initial Sales Training:
Manage all aspects of initial sales training, including but not limited to developing content, creating class agenda, conducting home study virtual training, and facilitating virtual and live classroom training
Thoroughly and effectively evaluate trainee performance and communicate trainee progress/performance with management
Model the way for all new hires, demonstrating Shionogi's mission and values
Minimum Job Requirements Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
Minimum six to seven (6-7) years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least two to three (2-3) years in a home office-based Sales Training role
Pharmaceutical sales experience required
Product launch experience strongly preferred
Experience in primary care market is required
Competencies
Strong project management skills required (timeline and budget management, planning, prioritization, objective setting, meeting management, and plan execution)
Exceptional organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Other Requirements
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25% of the year
Must live a commutable distance to our US Corporate Headquarters in Florham Park, NJ. Office presence required at least 3 days per week
Additional InformationThe base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000-$180,000. Individual pay is determined by several factors, which include but are not limited to: job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The range does not include the comprehensive benefits, vehicle allowance, bonus, long-term incentive, or any additional compensation that may be associated with this role.
