Foundation Database Administrative Coordinator (Finance)

As the Foundation Database Administrative Coordinator, you will:

  • Maintain and Enhance CRM Systems: Administer and upgrade constituent relationship management (CRM) databases to ensure accurate and efficient tracking of interactions with donors, nonprofits, board members, and community partners.
  • Implement Best Practices: Develop and enforce database policies and procedures to support data integrity and system utilization across the Foundation.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Serve as the primary point of contact for database update requests, working closely with the development team to maintain cohesive and consistent data.
  • Generate Reports and Acknowledgments: Run routine reports to verify data accuracy, identify and merge duplicate profiles, and generate timely gift acknowledgment letters to donors.
  • Support System Conversions: Lead efforts in database software conversions, performing maintenance and updates to ensure successful transitions.
  • Track Engagement and Goals: Monitor development staff progress against goals and track constituent engagement through the relationship management cycle.
  • Conduct Prospect Research: Utilize online and database research tools to create comprehensive profiles of prospective donors and foundations.

Requirements

Knowledge/ Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in related area, preferred.
  • Knowledge of and proficiency with nonprofit CRMs, such as Blackbaud product, Salesforce of other similar donor database applications, preferred.
  • Knowledge of and proficiency with prospect research tools, such as Wealth Engine, Donor Search, Candid, or other similar systems, preferred.
Experience:
  • Two years of related experience required. To include: Database Management and Non-Profit Organization
Skills/Abilities:
  • Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must have analytical, statistical, personal organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability and desire to quickly learn new software.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and participate as an active team member.
  • Must have proficient computer skills.
  • Ability to think independently. Able to organize, prioritize, and execute a variable workload and multiple priorities.
  • Adaptable and flexible.
