As a Formulations Processor I, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, ensuring flawless production of high-quality formulations in Greenwood, SC, USA. This is your chance to be part of an exceptionally dedicated team that values collaboration and innovation! The Material Preparations department is integral to the hard capsule production process by ensuring that material is supplied to the machines in a timely manner and that the material meets all the quality requirements to ensure proper capsule production.

Essential Functions:

  • Processors precisely blend sets of defined ingredients into master batches and process them to strict specifications to ensure the highest quality formulations and reliable downstream process.
  • When the indicators are ‘GREEN', the process is under control. The Processor relentlessly monitors the condition of the process and immediately remediates any deviation.
  • Through monitoring of statistical controls, periodic product samples, and signals from inspection detectors, the Processor creates the highest quality formulations that are functional, safe, compliant and perform to specifications.
  • By first setting high standards for process control and quality, the Processor generates high batch output, synchronized with downstream processes, maximizes process and material efficiencies, and addresses all issues swiftly.
  • Orderly work areas reduce workplace hazards and ensure product compliance. Cleanliness also reflects a controlled process and improves the appearance of the company to onlooking fellow colleagues and visitors.
  • Maintain production records as required by Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends, holidays, additional hours/days as business needs dictate. Attendance in the plant site is considered an essential function.
  • The Formulations Processor provides backup for other Formulations Processors.
  • Must meet expectations on Safety, Attendance, Teamwork, Quality, and Productivity metrics.

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Must score a 50 or less on Color Hue Test
  • Ability to work with percentages, decimals, and fractions and do related calculations
  • Ability to accurately use precision weighing equipment
  • Lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic computer skills
