Job Summary
We are currently looking for production workers on our day shift. Your main responsibilities will be the following:
- Blend, bag and palletize sand
- Operate and supervise the production machines to ensure it runs continuously and smoothly
- Ensure the process is respected and that the quality of the finish products meets the requirements
- Drive a forklift on a need basis (driver's license and forklift certification)
- Keep the work environment clean and do the housekeeping of the plant
- All other tasks are assigned
Requirements / Education / Experience
- Able to work with autonomy and organized
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds bags, do repetitive manual work, occasionally lift up to 100 pounds
- Sense of initiative and dynamic person
- Team player and committed/engaged
- Manufacturing experience is a definite asset
Job Compensation
- The hourly pay rate is $18-$19
- Vacation hours of two weeks per year
