Software Engr II (Finance)
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and 3 years of experience with software development.
- Full term of experience must include the following: experience resolving critical customer issues; ability to code in multiple languages; understanding software development lifecycle; demonstrate the ability to develop efficient and high quality software; knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices.
- Up to 10% domestic travel required.
- Telecommuting permitted when not at customer site.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Technical Support via phone calls and emails from external customers.
- Troubleshoot issues related to proprietary software running sortation systems in distribution centers and fulfillment centers.
- Document phone call and issue details.
- Create and provide training.
- Monitor software applications - create automated reporting.
- Debug software defects and analyze software source code to help answer customer questions.
- Develop software improvements.
- Manage change control process - write scope of work and coordinate change with external customer.
- Test and implement software changes.
