  • Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Preferred one or more years' experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment required.
  • Minimum of one or more years' experience working with integrated computer programs or applications experience required.
  • General knowledge of elevator and escalator parts a plus.
  • Experience in working with COPICS a plus.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
  • Possess good communication skills (verbal and written) along with sound interpersonal skills to all levels of the organization.
  • The ability to read, interpret, comprehend, and organize technical documentation is preferred.
The first 3 letters in workplace safety are Y-O-U!TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Engineering Coordinator located in Middleton, TN.Responsible for receiving, coding, and routing Job packet information accurately and timely to generate material requirements in COPICS, Barcode and Contract Folder systems and support Manufacturing schedule for production for a family of sections. This role is also responsible for delivery of packets to the shop floor, managing callbacks, and managing the backlog of orders to ensure the factory meets the
on-time delivery targets.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Job Packet Management: Receive, code, and route job packets; ensure accurate data entry into systems like COPICS and Barcode.
  • Production Scheduling: Plan and coordinate material flow and production schedules; monitor active inventory and production status.
  • Communication & Coordination: Liaise between scheduling, manufacturing, and engineering to ensure timely job execution and updates.
  • System Updates: Maintain accurate job and material data in COPICS and barcode systems.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Generate schedules, process reports (e.g., Incomplete Job Report), and manage job folders.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot design issues, suggest improvements, and resolve quality concerns.
