Your Team

As a Lead, Business Intelligence & Data Analytics in PGIM Global Services you will partner with product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers and delivery professionals to improve our Power BI Platform and supporting solutions and products to design insights and reporting mechanisms. Designs, develops and implements business intelligence dashboard solutions using various BI tools and technologies ( PowerBI, Business Objects, etc.). Partners with business stakeholders to define key performance indicators and develop automated, scaled dashboard solutions. Experience with significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables and may impact future concepts, products or technologies. Exercises latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments. Partners with Product Owners and compliments them with industry leading skills and expertise in business intelligence technology. Specializes in exploiting data insights for the generation of business intelligence reports and dashboards, which will be used for problem solving and decision making. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments. A strategic leader within the organization.

This role is based in our office in Newark, NJ or Tampa, FL. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely and from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. This position is hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring weekly basis at least 3 days per week.

Here is what you can expect in a typical day 

  • Deliver and execute on vision and strategy and communicate success stories effectively to key stakeholders, the team, and enterprise. Identify opportunities to leverage Business Intelligence solutions and platform in existing portfolio and expand in new areas to drive significant business outcomes. Collaborate and communicate effectively and consistently with business partners to proactively identify needs, prioritize, and deliver solutions
  • Demonstrates thought leadership and expertise across Business Intelligence disciplines. Present Business Intelligence dashboard solutions to executive leadership from different business units and functions to generate excitement and gain consensus. -
  • Develop and oversee initiative/program roadmaps ensuring that measurable OKR's, milestones, resource plans (human and technical), and ROIs that represent ongoing impact and value. Deliver a portfolio of initiatives ensuring the strategic direction and outcomes of the businesses are reflected in the execution of these initiatives -
  • Understand the data consumption patterns and develop best in class self-service BI capabilities across the enterprise. Ensure customer-driven design considering user pain points & usability test results, while leveraging industry knowledge. Lead proof of concepts for new tools and technologies.

The Skills & Expertise You Bring 

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering; Analytics; or experience in related fields
  • Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Analyzing structured and unstructured data to identify insights, patterns, discrepancies, anomalies, and business trends ; Integration of data from disparate sources (internal/external) ; Ability to synthesize results and make business recommendations.
  • Data Visualization : Expertise in relevant data visualization tools: Tableau , Power BI , MS Excel . Additional data visualization tools, Copilot Studio, etc
  • Data Wrangling : Preparing data for further analysis . Transforming and mapping raw data to generate insights , Data wrangling through Data Robot, Excel, SQL.  
  • Database Management System : Knowledge of how to work with data from (do not build): SQL , Unstructured (NoSQL) , Graph / ontology (DB Graph)
  • AWS Development (Core) : Knowledge of Azure core services and Azure Foundry

Significant experience and/or deep expertise with several of the following: 

  • Problem Solving – deep knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving interpersonal, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. 
  • Effective Communications - Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. 
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking - Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. 
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail - Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. 
  • Producing Results - Understanding of the criticality of getting things done in spite of current circumstances and the ability to apply assigned resources and leverage back-channel resources (individuals or teams) to achieve or exceed planned outcomes.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $90,000 to $110,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
