Master Scheduler (Administrative)

Position Overview:
The Master scheduler provides planning administration including scheduling, budgeting, performance monitoring, analysis, reporting, personnel planning, resource management and capacity planning, and other administrative duties as assigned.
This critical role is one that is both challenging and fast paced, as all production planning for multiple production lines is owned by this individual. The ideal candidate will have strong "hands-on" experience in an ERP/MRP/S&OP/IBP environment and have a demonstrated record of driving change in a high performing function.
Responsibilities:
· Develop Mid-Long Term (3-24 Months) Production Strategies and Planning Schedules based on the unconstrained Demand Plan.
· Active participant and contributor to the overall IBP Process but in particular the Supply Review.
· Conduct Production and Warehouse Capacity Analysis & Resource Utilization.
· Develop a master schedule with "What if" scenarios for a specific value stream, product class based upon MRP, level loading, inventory strategy, lot sizing.
· Escalate any capacity constraints to Supply/Inventory/Demand leadership to decide on appropriate action.
· Align production assumptions (rates, sequencing, changeovers, etc.) with operational teams and maintain systematic parameters supporting scheduling and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Work with Plant leadership, Engineering staff, and other key players to adapt models and be a key player driving operational and cost efficiencies through scheduling.
· Track Production Schedule Adherence in real time and utilize analytical capabilities to find appropriate solutions (increasing Production Run Rates, finding Capacity to regain lost production, etc.).
· Take appropriate steps to activate systematic alerts and work cross-functionally to update plans to minimize impacts (capacity, shortages, excess inventory, etc.)
· Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain leadership teams to optimize line time and ensure ideal execution by other functional areas.
· Drive, promote and develop positive communication with Operations.
· Aid in the design and implementation of an MRP/Manufacturing Planning solution (process and tools).
· Applying financial measures to Mid-Long Term Production Schedule (i.e. contribution margin).
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5-10 years of Supply Chain/Planning/Master Scheduling experience required.
· A degree in business management or a related field required. Prior experience in manufacturing or supply chain management.
· APICS Certification (CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.
· Planning process experience utilizing an MRP/ERP is required.
· Proven people skills required, must have ability to work with and lead/supervise others while effectively handling internal pressures.
· Prior hands-on experience with S&OP and/or IBP Process.
· Preferred experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to simplify complex processes and results to present ideas in a clear and concise manner.
· Skilled at building strong and sustainable relationships cross functionally across the business.
· Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI) and related production and product information systems.
· Outstanding organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and concurrently manage multiple projects.
· Results driven.
· High level of analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strategic thinker.
· Leadership through influence and aligning resources with relevant projects.
· Champion the organization's values and reflects those values in day-to-day leadership and relationship development.
· Demonstrated strength in process improvement, SOP documentation and employee training.

· Must be willing to be a hands-on performer and spend significant time planning and executing processes, analysis and time on the plant production and warehouse floor.
Hours, Location and Pay:
We offer a competitive base pay rate and comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees. This role works standard business hours onsite Monday - Friday at our Little Chute, WI manufacturing facility.
Physical and Mental Demands:
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.
