Pay Rate:Compensation varies based on functions worked.

The wage scale as stipulated by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Hotel Trades Council and Hotel Association in NYC is applicable.

A Banquet Server is responsible for delivering and serving food and beverage items to banquet guests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

As a Banquet Server, you will play an integral role in creating unforgettable moments for our guests by delivering gracious, anticipatory service with poise and precision. You will ensure each dining experience meets the exacting standards of a Five-Star luxury hotel, thoughtfully attending to every detail to exceed expectations.

As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing refined food and beverage service in accordance with Forbes Five-Star and luxury hospitality standards. Your role is to ensure that every guest interaction is warm, seamless, and reflective of the personalized service our guests expect. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Graciously deliver and present food and beverages, including meals, condiments, and accompaniments, in a polished and professional manner

• Demonstrate expert knowledge of banquet menus, ingredients, and special requests to assist guests and anticipate their needs

• Maintain impeccable table settings and ensure the removal of china, glassware, and silverware in a discreet and efficient manner

• Provide attentive, intuitive service throughout each event, responding promptly and warmly to guest requests

• Proactively communicate with culinary and stewarding teams to ensure smooth service flow and uphold presentation standards

• Support team members and collaborate across departments to foster a respectful and service-focused work environment

• Execute all side duties with excellence, including polishing silverware, resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness and readiness of event spaces

To qualify for this position, you must be certified by the HTC / Hotel Association Industry Training Program.
