Quality Assurance Lab Technician
Shift: First
Hours:_ 5:00AM - 1:00 PM__ Overtime may be required depending on production needs.
Duties / Description: This position is responsible for testing all foam produced to ensure it meets the specified requirements and takes appropriate actions after results are available. Retrieve samples and prepare them for testing. Conduct all testing that is required on foam samples based on the appropriate Methods/Standards. Record and report test results and release grades that pass from holding locations. Assist in containment of any grades that do not meet specifications. Keep the area neat, organized and clean as well as follow 5S principles as they are appropriate. Cross train in other positions as required. Other duties may be assigned as needed by the employee's supervisor.
