Lead Contracts Analyst - S/R (Finance)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in accounting and business and/or contract law
  • At least 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Along with at least 1 year of department specific experience related to Service & Repair contract review.
  • Strong understanding of core construction contract clauses (e.g., liquidated damages, indemnification, pay-when-paid, etc.).
  • Ability to explain and simplify complex legal concepts to non-legal personnel both verbally and in writing.
  • Proven experience in training and mentoring staff on contract negotiation best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-level negotiations and influence contract outcomes.
  • Experience managing contract compliance in alignment with corporate policy.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to design training and SOPs that support knowledge sharing and professional development.
  • Collaborative leadership style with a commitment to fostering team productivity and knowledge exchange.

TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Lead Contracts Analyst - Service/Repair in Atlanta, GA.

Contract Analyst Team Lead- Service & Repair will play a vital support role to the department's supervisor and manager in managing day-to-day operations. While this position does not include direct supervisory responsibilities, it offers the opportunity to influence team success through expert guidance, collaboration, and problem-solving. This individual will serve as a key legal liaison, supporting branch operations with complex contract language interpretation and escalation resolution. The ideal candidate will bring a strong legal acumen, a collaborative mindset, and a drive for continuous improvement in processes and training.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Lead the timely and effective resolution of escalated contract issues.
  • Provide strategic guidance and contract language alternatives to Contract Analysts and branch personnel on complex legal matters.
  • Assist with implementation of system and process improvements.
  • Train and support Contract Analysts to maintain quality standards and compliance with SOPs through monthly audits
  • Develop and manage team performance aligned with departmental goals and expectations.
  • Review customer contracts and terms, providing legal interpretation and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Draft and revise contract amendments and redlines that reflect sound business judgment and protect organizational interests.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on contract terms, bonds, insurance certificates, and OCIP/CCIP processes.
  • De-escalate customer service and branch-level contract issues that exceed frontline resolution capacity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance process efficiency, operational scalability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
