Operations Manager (Sales)



The Operations Manager is the client services leader in a ConnectPay location and is an integral member of the Operations Team. This role exemplifies ConnectPays core values and ensures that our brand promise of excellent service is consistent for our small business clients.
Requirements:
Utilizes industry knowledge to actively hire, train, coach, and mentor new and existing team members.
Work closely with sales, onboarding, tax, and other departments to ensure accurate client processing.
Support other Operations Managers and team members when needed and to support seasonal high volume client workloads.
Adhere to and ensure that security requirements regarding client data as well as ConnectPay data.
In partnership with the Talent Team, interview, hire and onboard new team members and perform timely performance reviews.
Assess current CSR workloads to proactively address any issues.
Recommend changes to training curriculum and/or new procedures to other leaders as appropriate.
Manage daily huddles to coach and mentor team members and gather feedback.
Assist CSR team to ensure timely follow up with clients and internal team members.
Analyze situations and elevate when appropriate to leadership.
Continue to learn and keep current with industry knowledge.
Assign and/or assist with other special projects as needed.
Proactively and positively communicate with teammates and clients any changes to our software platform or tax laws.

Qualifications:
In depth understanding of Payroll and Tax Processing and ability to effectively teach team members.
3+ years experience in a service-oriented payroll processing capacity.
Demonstrated leadership qualities while maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment.
Proven proficiencies in payroll and client services.
Excellent communication skills with internal and external clients
Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and effectively utilize resources.
Ability to work well under strict time constraints, prioritizes client issues, adapts quickly to changing needs and is flexible when priorities shift.
Aptitude for detail, possesses effective troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Accounting Principles proficiency preferred.
Knowledge of and experience with software platforms, MS Word and Excel, Internet usage, MS Office 365 is preferred.
Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred.

CP Payroll believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of this role's hiring base salary range is $66,000 - $80,000. The actual salary offered may be outside of this range depending on a variety of factors, including but not limited to a candidates education, training, experience, location, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, all CP Payroll team members receive equity and participate in either an annual bonus plan, based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
This role is eligible for an annual bonus with a target of 5% of base salary, based on company and individual performance.
