Job Title: Off-Site Linen Distribution Technician
Location: Northside Atlanta Hospital
Shift: Full-Time, 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Linen Distribution Technician to join our team at Northside Atlanta Hospital. This individual will ensure timely and accurate delivery and collection of hospital linens while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Essential Functions
Transport clean linen in covered carts to designated hospital areas.
Collect and return soiled linen in covered carts to specified areas.
Verify quantities of linen delivered.
Conduct inventory as needed.
Resolve client concerns and escalate issues to supervisors.
Communicate effectively with hospital staff and NOVO management.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and institutional policies.
Perform clerical tasks (e.g., answering phones, data entry).
Operate equipment related to linen handling and storage.
Comply with Joint Commission standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
1–2 years of experience in healthcare, manufacturing, or similar environments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
Physical ability to:
Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.
Lift up to 35 lbs.
Push/pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Basic computer skills and adaptability to new systems.
Physical Demands
Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and maneuvering of carts (up to 400 lbs.).
Must meet physical demands for the entirety of the shift.
