We are seeking a dependable and passionate Dietary Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in preparing nutritious and appealing meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements.
- Ensure food is cooked and stored at proper temperatures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas.
- Follow portion control guidelines and food safety standards.
- Collaborate with dietary aides and nursing staff to accommodate special diets.
- Assist with inventory and ordering of food supplies.
👤 Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or senior living kitchen preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification a plus).
- 3 years experience in nursing facility
- Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
