Intern, BMW FS Commercial Finance Sales Operations - Summer 2025 (Finance)
This is a full-time internship position our Summer rotation, from June 2, 2025 through August 22, 2025 in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.
This position will support all facets of BMW Financial Services commercial finance sales operations. BMW FS provides inventory, mortgage, working capital and acquisition financing to over 400 dealers in the United States while also participating in syndication loans. Commercial Finance Sales Operations is responsible for loan product design, pricing and structuring for the entire multi-billion dollar portfolio.
WHAT AWAITS YOU.
- Analyze product offerings and identify enhancements.
- Commercial loan pricing and structuring.
- Communicate internally with internal stakeholders (Sales, Credit, Finance, credit committees).
- Create effective sales presentations utilizing PowerPoint and Excel tailored to identified opportunities. Enhance existing CLG presentation templates.
- Analyze existing portfolio of commercial finance dealer loans and inventory financing programs to design program modifications to grow business.
- Design customer survey to identify opportunities to improve programs, customer interface and program communications.
- Enhancements to department intranet page.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.
- Currently enrolled in a bachelors or master program at an accredited college with at least 60 credit hours or rising Junior status.
- 3.0 Overall GPA.
- Field of Study: Finance, Business, Banking, Economics, or Marketing
- Must attach a copy of unofficial college transcript.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week).
- Preferred availability for 6 months.
- Interest in automotive, financial services, lending, banking or finance.
- MS Office proficiency. Strong Excel, PowerPoint and analytical skills.
- Preferred: Some experience in banking, lending or financial services.
- Experience in Tableau.
- Excellent time-management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Self-motivated, adaptable to a dynamic environment
- Strong analytical capabilities

The hourly rate for Undergraduate students is $25.30
The hourly rate for Graduate students is $32.20
