Sales Operations Lead Analyst (Remote) (Finance)



The Sales Operations Lead Analyst role will support the Sales Operations Producer Compensation and Consulting team and partner and build relationships with Sales and leadership. The role will be a key contributor in supporting complex compensation programs regarding but not limited to the development of revenue growth solutions encompassing sales strategy, reporting and data intelligence, business requirement gathering and user stories and administration of the E2E compensation solutions managed. Will develop and maintain multi-functional compensation results for brokers requiring an analytical and strategic mindset.

Primary Responsibilities, not limited to:

  • Provide guidance and support to the compensation team and those partnered in assigned markets and regions.
  • Compensation analysis and investigative solution management of producer and sales inquiries for payment or contractual issues that impact the producer.
  • Field business requests from leadership leveraging individual contributor knowledge and resource engagement with limited oversight.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert regarding compensation disputes and program oversight for Sales, Producers and other key partners.
  • Collaborate with business cohorts such as but not limited to Producer Value Stream, IT, Commissions, Legal, Underwriting, Operations, Marketing, Pricing, Products, Finance and Sales departments providing gap analysis, problem/solution tactics while utilizing an agile mindset enabling critical thinking.
  • Support the Producer Optimization and Sales leadership teams through analytical evaluation recommending solutions promoting the growth in premium, membership and earnings supporting the organization's strategic growth targets.
  • Support the budget expense accrual process for compensation accounting.
  • Collaborate with the reporting, analytics and administrative teams to draw conclusions from analysis and apply insight and decisive but quantifiable execution based on the findings.
  • Prepare ad hoc requests for internal clients, customers and leadership inquiries.
  • Assist in compensation program design and contractual agreement execution. This includes developing, testing and the implementation of programs with Sales, Legal and Compliance teams.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures with an innovative mindset.
  • Assist Manager. leadership and team in day-to-day activities related to producer compensation, research, analytics and/or projects.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years insurance or related experience. (Carrier and financial experience a plus)
  • Bachelor's degree; Business, Finance, Mathematics or 7+ years equivalent work experience.
  • Prior experience working with Brokers, Sales Representatives and leadership helpful.
  • Experience working with CRM tools and systems: Salesforce, STAR, Tableau or similar customer relationship management or sales performance management solutions.
  • Working with an Agile mindset is critical.
  • Analytical abilities is required to navigate the day to day inquiries and multi-functional challenges presented by internal and external business partners.
  • Motivated independent self-starter who is detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and time management.
  • Ability to function in a high demand work environment while managing multiple priorities to the organization.
  • Responsible and professional business acumen necessary to fulfill job responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to function equally as an individual and as a team player with proven ability to manage strong working relationships within the organization.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, STAR and database applications.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 71,600 - 119,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
