Manager, External Reporting (Finance)

This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.

In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.

Honeywell is hiring a Manager, External Reporting. This person will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the preparation, analysis, and reporting of Honeywell's financial results to external stakeholders. You will ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations, and guide the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. Your expertise in financial thoughtfulness and insights will facilitate business decision-making, and you will provide guidance and facilitate to cross-functional teams.

You will report directly to our External Reporting and Accounting Policy Director, and you'll work out of our Morris Plains, NJ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

The Manager, External Reporting is a contributing team member in the Corporate Controller's organization. This role provides an opportunity to gain broad exposure through interaction with various Corporate Functions, as well as each of the Strategic Business Groups (SBGs). In this role you will leverage your knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting and SEC reporting requirements in working on external financial reporting and various technical accounting matters. This role will consult with corporate functions and SBG leadership by leading discussions or providing consultation on various SEC and technical accounting matters.About Us
