Shipping & Receiving Clerk (Administrative)



POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Posts transactions for customer orders and returns documentation to Customer Service. Coordinates approval from QA lab and Inventory Controller for same day make/ship orders, as well as any special transportation needs such as heat required trailers or team drivers. Schedules all customer shipments with designated carriers and promptly reports on any missed or late shipments. Validates freight invoices for accuracy. Schedules all returns and process BOL paperwork for returns with designated carriers. Maintains customer required tracking information and special requirements as necessary. Conducts freight cost comparisons for TL and LTL shipments. Generates transfer orders for internal warehouse shipments from multiple locations. Tracks & reports carrier performance quarterly to the Logistics Operations Manager.
