Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented marketing professional with a passion for research, insights, and strategic impact? As a Marketing Strategy Specialist II, you'll play a vital supporting role in shaping the strategies that fuel Ent's growth. Working closely with the Senior Manager of Marketing Strategy, you'll help bring plans to life through in-depth audience research, competitive analysis and data-driven recommendations. In this role, you'll collaborate across teams to connect business goals with actionable marketing strategies. You'll support the development of annual and campaign-specific plans, analyze performance to guide future efforts and keep a pulse on market trends to uncover emerging opportunities. Your work will directly inform the strategies that power high-performing marketing campaigns across the organization. Essential Functions

  • Support Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of annual marketing plans alongside the Senior Marketing Strategy Manager, ensuring alignment with Ent's goals across brand, new member acquisition, member engagement, product marketing, and community initiatives. Conduct research on audience behaviors, market trends, and competitor strategies to support the development of campaign recommendations that drive engagement and measurable impact.
  • Strategy Development: Partner with business units to help clarify marketing objectives and success metrics that align with their business goals. Use audience data to identify key demographic and psychographic segments and assist in refining messaging strategies. Support the identification of underserved audiences or growth opportunities, and help shape value propositions to better engage these segments.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Provide insights on member and prospect behavior to inform targeting and content strategies. Independently execute competitive research using web monitoring tools and third-party resources to track rates, offers, user experience, and digital innovations in the industry. Monitor changes in consumer behavior, technology, economic trends, and the regulatory environment, and contribute observations to inform strategic planning.
  • Cross-Functional Relationships: Act as a point of contact for assigned business units, supporting collaboration and ensuring marketing strategies align with organizational goals. Assist in prioritizing marketing initiatives based on project calendars and business needs. Support alignment across teams by providing clarity on marketing strategy plans and actively participating in cross-functional planning efforts.
  • Data Tracking & Analytics: Help evaluate marketing campaign effectiveness by monitoring and interpreting performance data against established KPIs and campaign goals. Utilize dashboards and reporting tools to extract and summarize insights. Collaborate with Marketing Analytics to recommend optimizations that improve performance, efficiency, and return on investment.
  • Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

Qualifications

Minimum Formal Qualifications for this Position

  • Bachelor's Degree In marketing, communications or related field
  • 2+ years' experience in marketing strategy - strategic plans, creative briefs, agency work (required)
  • 4+ years' general marketing experience (preferred)
  • 2+ years' experience in financial services marketing and/or professional services marketing. (preferred)

Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of a bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of account experience could be substituted for a high school diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a master's degree in accounting and 0 years of work experience.

Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • Ability to effectively communicate in writing and in-person to peers and team leads
  • Ability to collaborate with team members by sharing ideas and resources to complete tasks more effectively than you could alone
  • Ability to translate data and insights into compelling narratives for different audiences
  • Ability to tackle strategic challenges with effective, often out-of-the-box solutions
  • Experience launching new products/services and entering new markets
  • Ability to evaluate market trends, competitors, and customer needs
  • Ability to interpret campaign data and make data-driven decisions
  • Ability to build long-term marketing strategies aligned with business goals
  • Ability to communicate strategy and performance to stakeholders, business units and teams
  • Ability to change strategic direction quickly based on changing market conditions

Additional Information

The pay range for this position is: $36 to $39 per Hour (S15)

Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, certifications, and internal pay equity.

This position is eligible for our corporate bonus program based on company performance.
